Aim: to develop a software application for restaurant which introduce functionality for orders processing and client service productivity enhancement. Provide an already made automated solution for orders creation, management ina restaurant.

Goal:

  1. Collect and proceed requirement from clients & make a market research
  2. Design a unified template that will serve basic requirements of restaurant
  3. Develop a user interface constructor for customisation to the restaurant zoning
  4. Arrange with the marketing department for further enquiries

For tasks scheduling the Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) was used. It was a way to visualize tasks’ flow in the project and estimate the timeline based on their assumed duration. Also, the dependencies between tasks were illustrated.

To schedule a project using PERT, was defined tasks and their order first, based on project’s milestones. There were estimated different timelines within the time estimation field as well as progress schale (in percents). PERT uses average duration rather than estimates to calculate possible timeframes.
